5 Types Of Cocktails Women Cannot Help But Love
Cocktails are the choice of drinks for most women for a number of reasons including the fact that they do not seem like conventional alcohol but a mix of varieties. A cocktail is a mixed drink typically made with a distilled beverage which may include one or more of gin, brandy, vodka, whiskey, tequila, or rum and is mixed with other ingredients. If beer forms part of the ingredients of a cocktail, such is referred to as a beer cocktail.
Cocktails tend to contain one or more types of liqueur, juice, fruit, sauce, honey, milk or cream, spices, or other types of flavourings as may be required. They may also vary in their ingredients from one cocktail mixer to the other and from one region to another. It is often possible for two cocktail creations to have the same name but have a totally different taste as a result of the ways in which the individual drinks were prepared.
One of the surest ways to impress a special woman or acquaintance is to know the right type of drinks they believe are suitable for them. Very little things talks about your capability and understanding than your ability to mix a good cocktail. While it seems quite easy to appreciate and love women that are able to go straight for a drink of whiskey, beer or particular liquor, you will surely score some points if you’re able to make something that provides the alcoholic thrill and also some sweetness on the side. Here are five drinks you can make or order to impress that woman you have your eyes on.
Bellini
The bellini is a sparkling wine cocktail and it’s ingredients include of puréed white peaches and Prosecco, an Italian sparkling wine. Other sparkling wines are commonly used in place of Prosecco, though richly flavored French champagne does not pair well with the light, fruity flavor of the Bellini. For a non-alcoholic version, sparkling juice or seltzer is used in place of the wine.
Strawberry Daiquiri
Daiquiri is a family of cocktails whose main ingredients are rum, citrus juice (typically lime juice), and sugar or other sweetener. If you have a blender handy, you can vary things by using Strawberry to obtain a sweet but strong and warm tropical drink.
Bumbo
This Straightforward and refreshing drink is also known as bombo or bumboo, and is a drink made from rum, water, sugar, and nutmeg. Cinnamon is sometimes substituted for or added to the nutmeg. Modern bumbo is often made with dark rum, citrus juice, Grenadine, and nutmeg.
Orgasm
The Orgasm is a cocktail that can be served either on the rocks or layered and drunk as a shooter. There are many versions of this popular mixed drink. The most common version involved equal parts of Amaretto, Kahlúa and Baileys Irish Cream. Another variation known as the screaming orgasm contains 1/3 oz. each of Vodka, Amaretto, Triple Sec and White Crème de cacao, and 1 oz. of light cream.
Piña colada
The piña colada (Spanish: piña, “pineapple,” and colada, “strained”) is the national drink of Puerto Rico since 1978 and is a sweet cocktail made with rum, coconut cream or coconut milk, and pineapple juice, usually served either blended or shaken with ice. It may be garnished with either a pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, or both.
It is prepared by pouring 3 ounces of coconut cream, 6 ounces of pineapple juice and 1 1⁄2 ounces of white rum into a blender or shaker with crushed ice, and blending or shaking very well until smooth. It can then be poured into chilled glass, garnished with pineapple wedge and/or a maraschino cherry.
