See Photos Of The Private Jet That Ran Off The Runway Causing Nnamdi Azikwe Airport to Shutdown

Hundreds of passengers are currently stranded at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on account of a chartered aircraft (Private jet) which broke down on the runway.

Reports had earlier reported that a private aircraft broke down at about 2:00pm at the boarding gate. The development forced airplanes that were due for landing to return to where they departed from and prevented take-off from Abuja.

A boarding gate staff disclosed to a correspondent that no announcement of the development has been made to prevent passengers from protesting, as no solution has been found to move the aircraft off the runway.
