15 killed and 55 Persons injured in Boko Haram attack in Maiduguri
15 persons have been confirmed dead and 55 others sustained injuries in an attack by Boko Haram insurgents at Bale community in the outskirts of Maiduguri last night April 1st.
Sporadic gunshots and multiple explosions which lasted for hours were heard from the outskirts of the city. The sect members attacked Bale-Shuwa and Bale-Kura communities near Maiduguri in an attempt to infiltrate the town at about 8: 00pm.
Security operatives engaged the sect members in a fierce gun battle.
