Lil Wayne And Birdman’s Legal Battle Takes “Hostile” Turn
The suspected reconciliation of Lil Wayne and Birdman seems to have come a few moments too soon. According to documents obtained by the Blast, the litigation battle between the two has taken a turn for the worse. Apparently a shared hug, and their public outing have done little to repair their soured relationship.
An Instagram post, of the pair hanging out at a club in Miami, appeared to show the two former colleagues in good spirits, with Birdman referring to Wayne as his son yet again.
In good conscience, it appears they held off from talking business during their club encounter. Things came to a head shortly thereafter. Lil Wayne is fiercely confident in his case against Birdman. Sources indicate that “There will be no connection, no ties, and no business relationship,” between them.
Wayne is suing his former boss and father figure for $51 Million. Birdman is accused of withholding millions. Wayne is also seeking an out from his Cash Money deal to go along with aforementioned compensatory package. Much of the infighting stems from Birdman’s unwillingness to release the Carter V, amid a certainty it would go over well.
