Venus Williams’ Home Reportedly Burglarized During U.S. Open

Thieves steal $400,000 worth of property from Venus Williams’ home.

Venus Williams’ Florida home was reportedly burglarized while she was playing in the U.S. Open back in September, and the thieves made off with over $400,000 worth of valuables according to a report by WPEC-TV.

Palm Beach Gardens Police Department believe Venus’ home was broken into sometime between September 1st and September 5th, which is when she was playing in the U.S. Open in New York. The stolen property is listed on the report, but it’s redacted, according to WPEC-TV. Venus lost in the semifinals on September 7th to eventual champion Sloane Stephens in three sets.
