Wiz Khalifa Throws First Pitch At Pittsburgh Pirates Game

Wiz Khalifa was invited to throw the first pitch at the Pittsburgh Pirates‘ most recent home game against the Baltimore Orioles, but the ball didn’t make its way toward home plate without a little controversy.

Sporting a “Legalize It” t-shirt, the Taylor Gang rapper made a smoking gesture with his hands while standing on the mound in front of delighted stoners and families with six-year-old children alike.

Later, he was spotted smoking from a vaporizer pen while he enjoyed the game with a female companion.

The MLB wasn’t pleased with Wiz’s actions, and released a statement denouncing them according to CBS.

“Marijuana is probated substance in all of our drug programs. It’s unfortunate this situation occurred,” said a spokesperson for the league. “The Pirates have informed us that this should not have happened.”

As far as the pitch itself… it didn’t even make it inside the batter’s box, rivaling 50 Cent’s infamous mishap.

Wiz Khalifa’s new 420-inspired game Weed Farm is available for iOS and Android devices now.
