Apple to Release a New Phone; Rumored to Cost Around N380,000 [You Can Watch Live]
If you have been reading technology news, you must have come across a rumored iPhone that is coming with radical changes. The phone is dropping today at 6 PM Nigeria time and it will be held in Apple Campus. What are the things to expect? Will you be able to follow the live stream of the event?
Apple fans around the globe buy Apple’s iPhone cause of features they have come to love and grown used to. Each time there is a change, iPhone users get on to whatever new rule Apple introduces. When the iPhone 7 was released this time last year, the audio jack was removed in place of the special earphone that plugs into the same port used for charging.
The removed 3.5mm audio port that was removed has brought about a superior audio experience to iPhone users. The iPhone 7 has a super audio experience when you used the Apple earphones. This earphone also turns the iPhone 7 into an audio recording device superb for voice overs will awesome noise cancellation effect.
This time around, according to the rumors, Apple will be removing the traditional and popular home button and getting rid of the fingerprint to unlock feature. These are rumors, but I think iPhone fans do not have anything to be worried about. Apple has a history of delivering on any new features build into any of their products.
What should you expect to see in the new iPhone?
According to The Verge, there is likely to be iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8+.
The iPhone editions to be released would be using Samsung OLED screens as against the LCD that they have been using before now.
In place of the fingerprint technology, it seems what Apple will be adding to the new Apple iPhones will be eye scanning security. I have seen eye-scanning on TECNO Camon C9 and it was a hit and miss. If Apple will be bringing this to the iPhone, be sure their implementation will be the best.
A new design is to be expected as well. According to leaks, the new iPhone edition(s) will have fundamentally new ways to interact with it, according to what Mark Gurman revealed; “A user can drag it up to the middle of the screen to open the phone. When inside an app, a similar gesture starts multitasking. From here, users can continue to flick upwards to close the app and go back to the home screen.”
