West Brom Sign Gibbs From Arsenal

West Brom have finalised the signing of Arsenal defender , Kieran Gibbs , for a fee in the ballpark of £7 million.

The 27-year-old defender has played for Arsenal since he was 14 and has played 230 games under Wenger.

Gibbs was on the brink of joining Watford, after losing his starting berth due to injury, but joined West Brom after talks with Watford fell through.

“We’ve now got a deal which I think is right for the club and I’m really pleased to add a player of this quality and experience to our group,” said West Brom boss Tony Pulis.

“Kieran’s a good age and has made over 200 appearances for Arsenal, represented his country and has Premier League and Champions League experience.

“To add these qualities to our squad is exactly what we’re looking for.”
