Arsenal’s Chris Willock Signs Five-year Deal With Benfica

Arsenal forward Chris Willock, 19, has joined Benfica.

The England Under-19 international, who has not made a Premier League appearance for the Gunners, has moved to the Portuguese side on a five-year deal.

‘I hope I can show what I can do on the pitch. I think we have a great team and we can achieve great things in the future,’ Chris Willock said on the Benfica website.

The new signing posed for a photo in the famous Benfica home shirt alongside club president Luís Filipe Vieira.

Willock made two first team appearances for Arsenal – both coming in the EFL Cup as a substitute.

He had joined Arsenal as a five-year-old and progressed through the academy and into Arsene Wenger’s first team.
